I love tutoring because I want to help people reach their potential. I believe that we all have the ability to do great things and if all you need is a helping hand, I offer mine. Experience tutoring GCSE Science - I started tutoring in secondary school; having excelled in my GCSE and A-level Science, I was approached by multiple parents asking me to tutor their children. My easy-going and adaptable style meant the young people and I worked well together and successfully raised their grades. I continued tutoring at university, maturing in my approach especially by learning to maximise parental involvement. OET Speaking Sub-test preparation - After 4 years at one of the top medical schools in the UK, with two of them being mostly clinical, I have developed a great appreciation for the importance of communication skills. I have never failed any component of the course, but my bedside manner has been repeated highlighted as a strength. I’ve supported classmates with their clinical communication skills over the years and now started helping with the OET Speaking Sub-test and seen big jumps in scores. Having had to learn English myself when I moved to the UK over a decade ago, I can understand the difficulties and subtleties that can trip up non-native speakers.

Hobbies
I have a passion for social responsibility; climate change, global health, migrant plight, and the homeless, discriminated, and marginalised individuals in our societies. My hobbies revolve around learning and perfecting; I have to constantly refine my technique in pole-vault, find practical applications for my knitting, and do mental exercises with the many books and articles I read.
